Polyurea applications:
• Roofs – it is excellent as a protections covering for the insulations of polyurethane foam.
• Reservoirs coating – protects the reservoirs made of steel from corrosion, chemical substances, bad weather etc.
• Reservoirs casing – Polyurea is resistant to many chemical substances and industrial liquids.
• Coating for tubes, pipes, mountings – Polyurea has proved to be much more resistant than other solutions, such as the paint and the costs for maintenance are much lower.
• Coating for bridges – the resistance in time of Polyurea (much more than the paint, for example) makes it perfect as a covering for bridges, especially for the ones made of steel and concrete.
• Theme parks and decorative design – Polyurea is frequently used in theme parks as protection coating. It is also used for ornamental constructions, figures, artificial rocks, pools, lakes etc. It has applications in the film and theatre industry, being used for decor.
• Shields – Polyurea was tested as a shield – armor. Some types of Polyurea reach a toughness and extensibility at traction as much as 500%.
